Broadbents Solicitors have an incredible history that goes way back to 1794 when they were known as Wilson & Son. Mortimer Wilson passed away in the 1950s, which led to the practice being bought by Blakesley & Rooth of Chesterfield. They appointed Geoffrey Broadbent to run the office in Alfreton. Geoffrey later left Blakesley & Rooth and changed the firm"s name to Broadbent & Co in the 1960s. They continued to practice from 5 King Street but expanded by opening a second office at 16 King Street, Alfreton in 1976. On January 1st, 1986, the firm opened a branch office at 14 High Street, Heanor. Broadbent & Co has been growing and expanding over the past twenty years, with offices opening in Derby in 2001.

Their main aim is to provide tailored services to their clients with a down-to-earth approach.
