Biscoes
There were four longserving Portsmouth based firms, namely Biscoe Smith, Heather and Bellinger, Cousins Burbidge & Connor, and Lyndhurst Groves, that merged together in 1994 to form Biscoes Cousins Groves. This merger was the result of a long historical background.
Fast forward to 2004, Biscoes had reached its 150th year, and it was then when they absorbed Wilkinson & Co and merged with King and Franckeiss, both of which were highly regarded local firms.
The following year, in 2005, Biscoes merged with Covers, which added a Petersfield office to their already long list of locations. Shortly after, they opened an office in Gosport.
Another merger took place in 2006, this time with the well-established practice of Barry Swanton & Co, which led to the creation of a Portchester branch.
As we move into the 21st century, Biscoes continues to grow and expand, while still providing a traditional and locally based legal service. We are conveniently located near you, and we offer a wide range of legal services to meet all your needs. At Biscoes, we take pride in providing a professional and friendly environment. You can also avail of emergency and home appointments in certain cases.
