Advertise or Update Your Firm on Solicitors.com

The UK’s longest-running dedicated solicitors directory.

Solicitors.com has been connecting consumers with UK solicitors for over 30 years. As one of the most established independent online legal directories, we aim to help people find regulated solicitors quickly, clearly and fairly.

We list SRA-regulated firms across England and Wales. In most cases, your firm may already appear on Solicitors.com. This page is for firms that would like to add a new listing, update existing information, or upgrade to a more complete and professional profile.

Is Your Firm Already Listed?

Most SRA-regulated firms are already included on Solicitors.com. If your firm is already listed, you do not need to create a new basic listing. Instead, you can contact us to update your details, improve your profile, or discuss the listing options available to your firm.

If your firm is new, has recently merged, changed its name, moved address, opened a new office, or is not yet appearing on our directory, we can help add or correct your listing.

Listing Options for Law Firms

We offer different listing options depending on the level of visibility, presentation and support your firm requires.

  • Basic listing – for firms that need their core details listed or corrected.

  • Enhanced profile – for firms that want a more detailed and professional listing, including stronger profile content and clearer service information.

  • Managed listing service – for firms that would like us to keep their profile updated on their behalf, plus everything from an Enhanced listing.

Fair and Independent Search Results

Solicitors.com is designed to be fair and impartial. Firms cannot pay to be placed permanently above other firms in the standard search results.

Eligible firms with complete and up-to-date profiles may appear in the top section of relevant search results. These firms are shown in a rotating order, so no firm receives a fixed ranking advantage simply because they pay for an upgrade.

Payment can improve the quality, presentation and management of your listing, but it does not buy preferential ranking over other firms.

Consumer Enquiries

Where a firm's information is complete and up to date, it may also be eligible to receive consumer enquiries by email. These enquiries are usually based on the consumer's location and the area of law they need help with.

Lead volumes vary depending on location, practice area and consumer demand. A firm in a busy area or common practice area may receive more enquiries, while firms in smaller locations or specialist areas may receive fewer.

Why Keep Your Profile Updated?

An accurate and complete profile helps potential clients understand who you are, what services you provide, and how to contact you. It can also reduce confusion where firms have changed names, merged, moved office, or updated their areas of work.

A well-presented profile can include clear information about your services, office locations, accreditations, contact details and the types of legal matters your firm can assist with.
