We are criminal defence solicitors with offices in Plymouth and Exeter, and we believe we are Devon's largest criminal defence practice and the only one with a presence in both cities. Our solicitors are based close to the local Magistrates' Courts and police stations, and together bring about 150 years of combined criminal law experience.
We provide free advice and assistance at the police station, and if your case goes to Court, we can apply for legal aid on your behalf, which, where granted in full, will cover the cost of your representation. Where legal aid does not apply, we are always honest about your options and the likely costs involved, and we agree fees with you in advance so there are no surprises.
From less serious matters heard in the Magistrates Court through to the most serious criminal charges, and from motoring offences to arguments around exceptional hardship or special reasons, our team approaches every case with the same level of care and preparation, whatever a client is facing.
