Our incredible history dates back to 1794, when we were known as Wilson and Son. After Mortimer Wilson passed away in the 1950s, Blakesley and Rooth of Chesterfield bought the practice and appointed Geoffrey Broadbent to run the Alfreton office. Geoffrey later left Blakesley and Rooth and renamed the firm Broadbent and Co in the 1960s.

We continued to practice from 5 King Street, Alfreton, expanding to a second office at 16 King Street in 1976, and opened a branch office at 14 High Street, Heanor, on 1 January 1986. Over the past twenty years we have continued to grow, opening an office in Derby in 2001.

Our main aim is to provide tailored services to our clients with a down-to-earth approach. We understand that discussing personal matters with a stranger can be challenging, so we prioritise making our clients feel as comfortable as possible.
