Cowans Solicitors LLP has been serving the local community from our offices in Dorking and Ash Vale since 1981, when founder David Cowan started the practice from his family home before moving to our current premises on South Street. We became a formal partnership in 2015, and remain a genuinely friendly and approachable high-street firm, proud to offer clear costs information and a personal service to every client. We are accredited under the Law Society Lexcel practice management standard and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, and we continue to hold a legal aid contract for criminal work at a time when many firms no longer do, reflecting our commitment to access to justice. Our team covers Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire, and we are proud members of the Association of Christian Law Firms. We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
