Duval Vassiliades Solicitors is a boutique shipping and maritime law practice, founded in 1994 by Jonny Duval and Alex Vassiliades, both of whom trained at the Bar before qualifying as solicitors and gained further experience at leading maritime law firms. We bring that specialist background to every matter we handle.
We advise on the full range of shipping and maritime matters, including collision, salvage, and marine casualty claims; general average; charterparty and cargo disputes; and claims arising under bills of lading and other contracts of carriage. We also act in cargo and commodity trading disputes, including FOSFA and GAFTA arbitrations, and advise on marine insurance matters, including Hull and Machinery and cargo and transit insurance claims.
