In 1935, the legal practices of Walter Herrington from Aldershot and Graham Carmichael from Camberley merged, giving rise to the name that we are currently known by. At that time, the idea of a ‘one-stop-shop’ law firm was prevalent on every high street.
Over time, the high street and client needs have changed, and we have evolved to provide increasingly specialized legal services. We have dedicated experts who operate at the forefront of their respective areas of law, whether it be for business or private clients. We are proud of our practical, deep understanding and professional teams in each of the legal disciplines. Currently, we are located in Watchmoor Park in Camberley and are the largest law firm in both Camberley and Surrey Heath.
We have invested in hiring the best experts and administrative support staff. Furthermore, we work hard to provide opportunities for their development so that they can not only continue to deliver the best service to clients but also remain with us throughout their careers. Our trainee programme is one of the strongest in the UK for retaining lawyers, and we take a longer-term approach to the individuals who join our firm.
Having provided specialist legal services in Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire for over 175 years, we have proven our ability to stand the test of time. We take pride in offering the very best legal services and have supported this by moving to more modern premises and investing significantly in infrastructure and technology.
