Mayo Wynne Baxter has been looking after Sussex since 1867, when Wynne Edwin Baxter opened a solicitor's office on Albion Street in Lewes. The county has changed almost beyond recognition since then, and we have changed with it, but the reason people come to us has stayed much the same. They want somebody local who knows the ground and will give them a straight answer.

We work from ten offices across the South East, at Brighton, Lewes, Chichester, Crawley, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Seaford, Storrington, Tunbridge Wells and London, with our main office in Bell Lane in Lewes. We are part of Shakespeare Martineau, which gives the people we act for the reach and the specialist depth of a national firm, while the solicitor they actually deal with stays the one just down the road from them.
