MCP Solicitors

MCP Solicitors has been practising in East Anglia since 1784. That is not a number we put up for decoration. It means the firm was here before the railways and before much of the drainage that made this landscape what it is, and it has been advising families in the same market towns ever since. A good many of the people we act for are the third or fourth generation of their family to use us.

We work from five offices, at Wisbech, King's Lynn, Peterborough, Ely and Thetford. The Ely office came to us in 2020, when we merged with Pooley, Bendall and Watson. Our client list is an unusual mixture: farming families and local businesses on the one hand, nationally quoted companies on the other. That works because we sit in the middle of rural East Anglia and still within a couple of hours of most of the country.

We hold Lexcel and Cyber Essentials certification, and the Legal 500 has ranked two of our departments in its top tier. What we would rather be known for is being straightforward with people about money and about their prospects. Ring whichever office is nearest, and somebody will tell you plainly whether we can help.
