Meaby and Co opened its doors in 1848 and has been a London firm ever since. We are a boutique practice rather than a large one, and we think that suits the work. You get a partner's attention rather than a case number, and the person you meet at the start is the person who sees the matter through to the end.

We work from five offices, at Camberwell, Marylebone, Chigwell, Dorking and Dunmow, across London, Essex and Surrey. Some of what we do is unusual for a firm of our size. We have a genuine aviation practice, we are well known for rooftop and airspace development work, and the Legal 500 has recognised us four years running, particularly for that and for property finance.

There is one thing we offer that most firms do not. We keep a media consultant in-house, who gives our clients public relations and crisis management support at no additional charge. That says something about how we see the job. When something serious happens, legal advice is often only half of what a person actually needs, and we would rather help with the whole of the problem than a part of it.
