Medical Solicitors does one thing. We act for people who have been harmed by medical treatment that went wrong, and we have never done anything else. Caroline Moore, who founded the firm, qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has spent her whole career on these claims.
That focus shows up in the accreditations. We are on the AvMA Lawyers Service panel and the Law Society's clinical negligence panel, we hold Lexcel, and we belong to APIL and the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers. In 2022, the Sheffield and District Law Society named Caroline its Partner of the Year, and the firm took Medical Negligence Team of the Year.
We work from Sheffield, York and Hull, and we take most cases on a no win, no fee basis, so the question of whether you can afford to find out where you stand does not really arise. Medical claims are slow, and they are technical, and the people bringing them are usually still unwell or still grieving. That is why the thing we say most often about our own work is that you are not just another case number to us.
