Milne Moser

Milne Moser was established in 1819 and has been practising in South Lakeland ever since. Two hundred years is long enough for a firm to have acted for the same families through five or six generations, and in a place like this, that is not a figure of speech.

We work from Kendal and Milnthorpe, and we cover most of what a family or a small business in this part of Cumbria is likely to need: buying and selling property, wills and estates, family matters, business and commercial work, and criminal defence. We also run an estate agency alongside the practice, which is a Cumbrian tradition and more useful than it sounds when you are moving house.

We hold Lexcel and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, we are accredited by the Law Society in criminal litigation, our family team are Resolution members, and we are certified under Cyber Essentials Plus. We also hold ourselves to what we call our Gold Standard, a standard of excellence we try to meet across every element of the business.
