We are Milner Elledge, a niche family and child law practice with offices in Romford and Dagenham, and family law is all we do. Simon Milner and Kim Elledge founded the firm, and together we have represented families across East London and Essex for over thirty years. We have held a Family Law Legal Aid contract since 1995. Simon was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and is an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and a long-standing member of Resolution. Kim, admitted in 2002, sits on the Law Society Children Panel. Our team of seven solicitors appears regularly at East London Family Court.

We know that people rarely come to a family solicitor on a good day. Whether you are separating, worried about the arrangements for your children, facing social services involvement, or you need protection from an abusive partner, we will listen properly before we advise, and we will tell you honestly what we think can be achieved. We take referrals from Women's Aid, Victim Support, the police and social services, and we are members of the local Domestic Abuse Forums. Legal aid and fixed fees are both available, so please ask us about funding at the very first meeting, and we will explain your options in plain language.
