We are Mitchell Solicitors, and criminal defence is what we do. We have been authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a recognised body since 2011, and we work from offices in Stevenage, St Albans and Eastbourne. Our partners are Vincent Mitchell and Gavin Harris, working alongside our consultants Simon Hancock and Jeanette Mitchell. We hold Lexcel, the Law Society's quality mark for practice management, and we are Cyber Essentials certified.
Being arrested or investigated is frightening, and it rarely happens at a convenient hour. That is why we are always directly contactable by mobile, and why we want you to feel confident that we are here to hold your hand every step of the way. We handle heavy and complex work, from serious fraud and organised crime to the most serious offences tried in the Crown Court, and we have built our reputation on giving straight advice throughout the proceedings, not just on the day of the hearing. Our offices are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and we keep an emergency mobile running outside those hours.
