We are MJP solicitors, and defending people accused of criminal offences is what we do. Between us, we have more than a hundred and fifty years of combined experience, and we work from Eagle Chambers on Fenwick Street in Liverpool and from Brunswick Court in Birkenhead.

Our lines are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, because an arrest rarely happens at a convenient moment.

We know that people do things that are completely out of character, and that people are accused of offences they have not committed. Our clients have included politicians, senior members of the medical profession, premiership footballers, solicitors, barristers, surveyors, police officers, charity officials and business people of every type, and what we offer them is an entirely confidential service. We act at the police station, at interviews under caution, and in the Magistrates' Court and the Crown Court.

A great deal of our work sits at the heavier end: serious fraud and dishonesty, business crime, and confiscation and restraint under the Proceeds of Crime Act, where the investigating body aims at whatever assets can be recovered.
