We are a progressive, full-service law firm, and we pride ourselves on providing legal services that genuinely meet the needs of the communities we serve.
We were established in 1988 and have forged a reputation for service excellence in the years since. We have received several prestigious awards, including the Law Society's Legal Excellence Award for Practice Management, and we are proud to be ranked in the Legal 500 and in Chambers and Partners. We were founded in the Liverpool City Region and we are still based here, but through reputation and niche we have gained a national reach.
We practice modern law to reflect a modern society, and we value all of our clients equally. Whether you have an ultra-high-net-worth matter or are experiencing difficult and vulnerable times, we are confident we have the knowledge and experience to assist you, and we will say so plainly if we are not the right firm for the job.
We work from five offices in Liverpool, Widnes, Manchester, Chester and Birmingham. Emma Carey has been our managing partner since 2018, having been the firm's first female trainee solicitor and then its first female partner. Our values are progressive, inclusive and responsible, and we try to make them mean something: our staff serve as trustees of more than twenty charities, we run weekly pro bono legal clinics, and we were the first business in Liverpool, and the only law firm, to achieve Navajo LGBTQ+ accreditation.
