We are NewLaw Solicitors, and we act for people who have been injured. We were founded in Cardiff in 2004, and we were the fourth firm in England and Wales, and the first in Wales, to be licensed as an Alternative Business Structure. Today we work from offices in Cardiff and Bristol.
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Almost all of what we do is claimant work: road traffic and motorcycle collisions, accidents at work and in public places, industrial disease, and the serious and catastrophic cases involving brain injury, spinal injury and amputation, where what happens next matters for the rest of a life. Alongside that, we run a clinical negligence practice for patients who have been badly let down by their medical care. We hold Lexcel and Law Society Personal Injury accreditation, we are ranked in the Legal 500 and in Chambers and Partners for claimant work, and more than ninety-five per cent of our clients say they would recommend us. We take most claims on a no win, no fee basis, and we bring rehabilitation and welfare support in alongside the legal case, because getting your life back is the point of the exercise.
