We are Nicholson Martin Legge & Miller, and we have been looking after people in and around Stanley and Houghton-le-Spring for over a hundred years. We work from two offices, one on Thorneyholme Terrace in Stanley and one on Newbottle Street in Houghton, and between them they cover much of north Durham and the Wearside side of Tyne and Wear.
We do three things, and we do them properly: family law, property, and looking after older clients and their estates. Our committed team is passionate about addressing your legal needs with care and dedication, and in practice that means seeing people without an appointment wherever we can, and visiting at home when coming to us would be difficult. Our family department holds legal aid contracts at both offices, our senior partner is an advanced member of the Law Society Family Law accreditation scheme and a trained mediator, and where a separation can be settled without a fight we will always try that first. Our best advertisements are our very many existing satisfied clients.
