We are NLS Solicitors, and immigration and asylum law is what we do. Between us we have over twenty years collective experience in asylum and immigration law, and we work from two offices in south Wales, on Clare Road in Cardiff and on Baneswell Road in Newport.

We recognise that good value, honest immigration advice can be hard to find. A great deal of what we do is for people in the most difficult circumstances imaginable: asylum claims, immigration detention and bail, and cases involving trafficking and modern slavery. We hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency for immigration and modern slavery work at both offices, so for many of the people who come to us there is nothing to pay. We also advise privately on visas, settlement, appeals and British citizenship.

Alongside the immigration practice, we have a small private family team handling divorce, arrangements for children and related applications. We hold the Specialist Quality Mark, and although we are based here in south Wales we act for clients nationally and internationally, by telephone, email and video as readily as in person.
