We are Pathfinder Legal Services, a law firm provided by the public sector for the public sector. We are an alternative business structure wholly owned by public bodies, Cambridgeshire County Council and Central Bedfordshire Council, and we work from Shefford, Huntingdon and Northampton.
We were established in 2015 as LGSS Law and rebranded under our present name in 2021. Our clients are councils, public bodies and not-for-profit organisations, more than a hundred of them, and working for that sector is the whole of what we do rather than a department within something else.
We are passionate about the public sector, and we pride ourselves on serving our communities with resilience, enthusiasm and focus. If you work in or alongside it and need legal advice that already understands how it operates, that is what we are here for.
