We are POCA Solicitors, a criminal defence firm working from Oriel Chambers in Liverpool, from Deansgate in Manchester and from Clitheroe. The name comes from the Proceeds of Crime Act, and confiscation work is central to what we do, but we defend the full range of serious criminal allegations.
We act in serious fraud, cybercrime and computer fraud, murder and manslaughter, drug offences, sexual offences, assault and violent crime, theft and burglary, and confiscation proceedings. That covers advice at the point of arrest, representation in police interviews and at court, preparing and presenting the defence at trial, and advice on appeals and judicial review.
