Solicitors in Shepton Mallet

Shepton Mallet solicitors work across a rural corner of Somerset: house and farm sales, wills and estates, lasting powers of attorney, family matters, employment questions and advice for local producers and businesses.

The market town sits in the Mendip Hills. Brewing and cider-making have long been part of its economy, and distribution, quarrying and public services provide jobs today. The Royal Bath and West showground is nearby. A historic stone centre gives way to post-war estates and newer housing on the southern edge.

Some residents use local practices. Others look to Wells, Frome or Glastonbury, or further afield to Bath and Bristol. The nearest county, family and magistrates' courts are at Yeovil and Bath, and Taunton is Somerset's Crown Court centre.
