The firm has a long history in the Manchester area, dating back to the 1800s. For over 100 years, it operated as a family-run partnership, primarily dealing with domestic conveyancing, trust, and probate work.
However, in 1980, the partners shifted their focus to commercial work, which is now a significant part of the firm"s operations. Alongside commercial work, the firm also specializes in wills/estate planning and high-quality conveyancing.
In 2004, the partnership was transformed into a limited company, with Bob Haworth, Richard Bell, Maggi Potts, and Andrew Mardsen serving as directors.
Recently, the company has experienced growth and relocated to larger offices in Altrincham in 2005, providing ample space for expansion. The new offices are located in a beautiful early Victorian building that was previously the Portofino Restaurant on the Downs, which many people remember fondly.
